Excuse Letter For Absent From Wedding

ENTER THE VOID

Director: Gaspar Noé
Written Gaspar Noé
Camera: Benoît Debie
Starring: Paz de la Huerta, Nathaniel Brown, Cyril Roy, Emily Alyn Lind, Jesse Kuhn

The Cinematic Works Gaspar Noe's is almost archetypal for polarizing an audience, Misanthrope or irreversible split the opinions of the audience as well as the press. That Noe's films are not made for a mainstream audience would not be a secret, which is not likely to be due to the often dramatically-realistic depiction of violence, because it is in the mainstream cinema has long since become mainstream. Here are the dramatic and cinematic techniques that Noe's films invariably hard to digest . Make Often act in his films about deprived people what their supposed security and how the hopelessness of fate and predestination befall them.

A beautiful nightmare! could

Noe manages to use his films to the viewer to be aware his own mortality, ENTER THE VOID, so to speak understood as a consciousness-science fiction, especially visually reminiscent of Stanley Kubrick 2,001th Dramatically, the film is completely decoupled from all other unconventional and Erzähformen. If you want to classify Gaspar Noe's latest film in the history of film, so you would have a direct comparison do with other media, as it were, ENTER THE VOID is the cinematic equivalent of the expressionist novels Ulysses and Berlin Alexanderplatz [these works to split their readers today]. Even with the wild, typographically overwhelming bias is classified ENTER THE VOID smoothly into the Noah's filmography. The film is a gigantic, [truly!] Dizzying iconoclasm that it creates a unique way the beauty of a destructive tragedy nierderschmetternden capture. The viewer has the subjective camera in ENTER THE VOID delivered merciless and experienced the events in part of the first-person perspective of the Oscars drug dealer who wants to get his sister Linda, often, the film shows his World but also from a dramatic entirely detached perspective and creates a very unique atmosphere. The story is told very loose and lets the viewer much room for interpretation, however, is clear from the beginning that the story will take very drastic and grueling proportions. The megalopolis Tokyo serves as a nightmarish scene of this story and is trapped in a very artificial and colorful way. ENTER THE VOID throws the audience into a discussion about desire, loss and destruction, and lets the spirit finally slipped away in the eponymous void drift to generate a new beginning. It is difficult to Iconoclasm to escape, while a very strong psychological and physical stress quite well for the viewer.

Tokyo glow vibrates and radiates with energy

The presentation of the history of ENTER THE VOID is at once expressionistic and explotativ - as an unfiltered assault on the synapses. The camera work and color ENTER THE VOID make it a stunning work of art and produce a completely new viewing experience, the content of external beauty and destructiveness of an ingenious contradiction. One group will hate him, many will love him - a real Gaspar Noe and just also happen to be very big cinema!

both content and form gives the film a very nice addition to the noisy representation of consciousness change in Ken Russell's ALTERED STATES [Altered] from the year 1980.

How Fast Is Recovery From A Stroke

VAN DIEMEN'S LAND

Director: Jonathan von der Heide
book Jonathan von der Heide and Oscar Redding
Starring: Oscar Redding Arthur Angel, Paul Ashcroft

A group of prisoners escaped from a British penal colony in Tasmania, but very soon becomes clear that the men have no food on the huge and unforgiving island to high chances of survival. From a successful escape is a cruel and insidious Odyssey madness manifested in the minds of the refugees.

8 men in this dark woods, far from gods eyes

Particularly One, Van Diemen's Land exceptionally well: to show nature as a mirror image of the human psyche. The men on the run degenerated more and more dark figures of madness, as indicated by the sinister landscape at the beginning with their hard structures. Although the film would have certainly had the potential for some effective shock effects, director Jonathan omitted from the heath [what a name!] Deliberately directorial Hilsmittelchen of this kind, which makes the film more intense, as in pale brown and gray tones Film eating sustainably in the synapses of the viewer.

Morals dies first

Psychologically, the film succeeds in a consistent manner, the actions of the protagonists painful to make them traceable. Unfortunately, it has translated uniformly in the German version, the dialogues of the Irishman and the Englishman, so much disappear from the cultural Dispkrepanz, which robs the film, unfortunately, little depth. Therefore: In any case, enjoy the sound. Van Diemen's Land is a visually stunning, dark and very oppressive document of a journey into madness.

WHITE LIGHTNIN'

Regie: Dominic Murphy
Buch: Eddy Moretti, Shane Smith
Darsteller: Edward Hogg, Carrie Fisher, Kirk Bovill

The great conflict with these spirits is the theme of this hard to digest and unusually filmed masterpiece. As a viewer you will witness a journey into hell, Jesco White moves by military schools, asylums, and finally by the horror of real life. Gradually, the film raises in an incredible, surreal world, and finally explodes in the end completely the boundaries between madness and reality, he seeks God, but finds only emptiness and darkness

With each step closer to the joy

director Dominic Murphy unverbraucheten convinced by a style, very rough, rough and painful to be real, the pictures in a granular, nearly colorless style captured. The entire story is told from the perspective of Jesco, which is particularly in the sound very persuasive. The title here refers not only to the name of the [real!] Jesco White protagonists, but also provides a reference to the "White Trash" here, a term that describes the white American underclass. Here the film seems like a counterpart to the film work Rob Zombies [REJECTED THE DEVILS]. Rob Zombie's films are always in the vicinity of White Trash, but with him only as a means to find and use any real discussion of the topic is precarious, at WHITE LIGHNIN 'hung tight precision and worked in a unique way. This film feels is like a punch in the gut, without consciously rely on shock and provocation. Played great, provocative, and far from the mainstream movie absolute tip!

DUELL DER MAGIER

Director: Jon Turtletaub
book What is a book?
Starring: Nicholas "will still sort of" Cage, Alfred Molina, Alice Krige, Monica Belucci

films like The Sorcerer's Apprentice happen if market analysts [do!] Make cinema magic students have brought finally even in the Harry Potter movies million into the coffee fund, then appeal is made to existing ingredients from any claim of intellectual, creative or even draft and finished the bland, adapted to each age group is instant soup.

A close encounter with Daniel the Wizard

THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE is very silly, but by far not funny, it is loud but exciting at any minute, add to that the fact that the story from plot holes and illogical is replete. Shall permit you the ultimate bad guy after contact to get away alive - despite plans to call this the end of the world. This story was apparently even the scriptwriters to frivolous and nonsensical, because otherwise it can not explain that the main narrative are often completely out of focus and moves instead of the mandatory 0815-Love Story makes room.

Nicolas Cage as Everyone

may now of say one or the other, that one can overlook a trivial story in a so-called "Guilty Pleasure" certainly, the great problem of the film is that aside from its crappy story and partly underground dialogues nichts zu bieten hat.

Since helping the clumsy allusions to FANTASIA [or even Goethe ZAUBERLERLING] no further, everything is only a means to an end, none of the makers of the film was apparently a serious interest in the history of Zaubererei or even the Arthurian legend, which the film mercilessly abused. Additionally, there is the pesky, teenie compatible Soundtrack - often the film seems like one strange music video. Really a shame director Jon Turtletaub has shown recently with the legacy of the secret book that mainstream cinema is not stupid, could be a thesis which he scattered but with this listless orgy rolled down effect to the winds.

WILD TARGET

Director: Jonathan Lynn
Starring: Bill Nighty, Eileen Atkins, Emily Blunt, Rupert Everett , Bill Nighy, RupertGrint
book: Lucinda Coxon [from the French original THE KILLER AND THE GIRL]

THE KILLER AND THE GIRLS, the French model of Wild Target in 1993, was a black comedy - was emphasized here, "black", the British edition is presented somewhat tamer, but do better with a brilliant Bill Nighty [THE BOAT THAT ROCKED] in the role of the killer and a cheerful cast.

No rose without thorns ...

The story is Victor Maynard, a professional killer, whose identity does not even know his clients and mind you still peddled by his strict mother, goes to his work with an embarrassing meticulously. Shortly before his retirement he was plagued, however, the compassion for one of his victim and he is forced to bold Rose [Emily Blunt] to spare. A big mistake, because from now on, all lights are on red and a wild hunt begins. WILD TARGET is an extremely smug black comedy that can score points by just a brilliant start and the resulting situation.

British Entertainment At Its Best

Rupert Everett [THE GIRLS OF ST. TRINIAN is AN ORDINARY HUSBAND] in the role of the antagonist again [!] Are a real joy and Emily Blunt can be messy-friendly Rose convincing. In other supporting roles shine Martin Freeman from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as a killer [here with probably the brightest teeth in film history] and Rupert "Ron" Grint from Harry Potter. The writer scores with witty dialogue, a felicitous timing and wonderfully droll ideas.

Ton]

DELIVER US FROM EVIL

Regie: Ole Bornedal
Buch: Ole Bornedal
Darsteller: Lasse Rimmer, Lene Nystrøm, Jens Andersen

"Crime and Punishment" is an often recurring theme that both in literature and in film continues to find use. Even in Sam Peckinpah's film Straw Dogs a similar kind - ABOUT VIOLENCE SEEDS turned inevitably to a spiral of violence until the story an almost unbearable degree of tension.

The horror beneath the surface

The Swede Ole Bornedal [DAMN Amsterdamm] told with DELIVER U.S. FROM EVIL a similarly grueling story lies dormant beneath the surface of a small village a large potential for violence, caused by frustration, loneliness and envy .

On the soundtrack, the film can convince the other hand, consistently, rarely act and psychological stress was shown by the unity of sound and vision hand in hand so skillfully.

Confessions of Schonunglos

pity that the film dramatically towards the end is easing and its conflicts more or less drops simple, yet knows how to convince DELIVER U.S. FROM EVIL. A film that tells of despair, xenophobia and hopeless loneliness. A movie tip!

CARLOS DER SCHAKAL

Regie: Oliver Assayas
Darsteller: Edgar Ramirez, Julia Hummer, Alexander Beyer, Anna Thalbach
Buch: Olivier Assayas, Dan Franck

Es ist beachtlich intoxicating as a 5.5 hour movie can be, no scene is too long or misplaced, we are grateful as a viewer that the character development of the individual figures were given as much time. When the credits for this gigantic flood of information [and wear seat of meat] on the screen, you really have the impression that director Oliver Assayas has taken time to examine all sides of the jackal.

An ambiguous figure

CARLOS this is neither pleasant nor particularly unsympathetic portrait, the representation of the many events in his life form, its shape and illuminate the more the Sinnlosgkeit terrorism and criticizing the attendant opportunism. CARLOS is precisely in this respect not only a successful contemporary document, but also a thought-provoking parable about the current world politics.

attention to detail

Particularly successful are the representations of the individual time periods, here is in every scene a lot of attention to detail and suggests only begun to have spent much time in researching this work must. The cast is able to go through to convince more white Edgra Ramirez in the role of Carlos. With CALROS THE JACKAL Oliver Assayas is a very rare and comprehensive portrait of an elusive phantom succeeded with the its themes to current events in the world refers. Be sure to swallow the long version!

Note: runs The theatrical version of the film about 140 minutes during the entire 336 minutes director's cut takes [for the French TV and DVD / BD releases]

TWO WORLDS 2 [XBOX 360]

The first steps in Antaloor ... While I
the beautiful views of a wide Steppe enjoy to me is a big rhino in the road, but before I can approach me the Colossus, I was being attacked by a pack of monkeys, which I hunt with my sword back immediately into the bushes. This sounds to Out of Africa to adrenaline, but the gameplay of the first chapter describes the new role-playing TWO WORLDS second Do not worry, the game is not limited to a pure desert setting, decides to move from hero to Asian plains, lush forests and gloomy swamps, but more on that later. has climbed

Status Quo
OBLIVION Since the 2005 the genre throne It was quiet in the fantasy RPG genre. Great Genre posts like Fallout 3 or Mass Effect 1 +2 Although offered a vast world with great quests, but only played in Endzeit-/Sci-Fi-Setting. The "classic" role players sat long on dry land, games like Gothic 3 +4 or RISEN were all below expectations, only TWO WORLDS saw some time ago for a drop in the ocean. The biggest criticisms of this still not quite perfect title, the long and irrelevant travel between the quests, the rather weak story and the average port to the consoles.

Gameplay:
First of all: Reality Pump has very exemplary accepted the criticisms of its predecessor, and created TWO WORLDS 2 is a very ambitious contender for the genre throne. The game offers an exciting (and very large!) Main quest, which sends the player on several islands of a gigantic world. Away from this main narrative involves the world of Antaloor many opportunities to prove himself as an adventurer. You can for example the residents of a poor village to help with the continuing drought to come to accomplish many errands or simply pull armed with sword and arms into the wide world and embark on Quest Search. TWO WORLDS 2 is clearly a late bloomer, the journey begins with very limited options on a tutorial island and widens the world slowly on a medium-size desert island, the conversations seem a bit wooden stages, crowded the roads oddity, despite the large environment, in the course of many hours of play will open the "real" world of Antaloor and invites you to explore breathtaking. The RPG-typical points system was implemented very well, you have to decide at the beginning of the game for any character class, but given the opportunity during the game to set priorities. A very progressive and open system, as we find. Numerous weapons, armor and other items can be broken down into their components and for the improvement of existing weapons are used. It is also possible to combine different spells and experiments to completely new results to reach. This pleasant openness TWO WORLDS 2 makes for a very individual experience that each player will learn differently. The locomotion of the giant world of Antaloor takes place via teleportation, sailing ship, horse or on foot quite classic. are dungeons, temples and other facilities are on the islands numerous, externally imposing, the interior now and then something generically thrown together, but also in Oblivion was no different. A very positive aspect is the Tatsch that opponents in the Mitleveln NOT play, so we refer particularly to the beginning of the game often in the lists, a feature that unfortunately can not often find their way into current RPGs.

Graphic:
TWO WORLDS 2 is the Crysis of RPGs, each of the completely different scenario and has its own special flair and has been implemented with enormous attention to detail. Interiors with beautiful ornaments, often convincing, realistic and beautiful surfaces [calculated in real time] lighting effects. The landscapes attract one immediately under her spell and invite you to an adventurous journey.

Stellenweise wiederholen some tunes a little too often, but it is not difficult to weight. The German dubbed version is truly exemplary, in the course of the game appear to some very prominent voices, which breathe life the story believable.

atmosphere
Whether we are in a savanna, a jungle or a forest-like black forest landscape is, it always feels as if we are in a fantasy novel. In the villages and cities, a wonderful authentic atmosphere created by the numerous Martkschreier, the whispering of the residents and appropriate noise. The only criticism here would be that break up the many different scenarios often result in something and not really a unit.

control:
In a word: complex! It takes several hours to be able to control absolutely everything, paid for the enormous diversity in all aspects of the game just by the fact that the player must work out many steps in handling the inventory menu. Overall, managed to strike just the occasional horse [but it behaves more harmonious than the coat taxi from OBLIVION]

Conclusion:
TWO WORLDS 2 will take time to ride in to come, we are talking about sure of 7-10 hours in which we should fight their way unerringly through the world of Antaloor. But as soon as the second chapter is opened, there is no way back, the huge, beautiful world can one not soon let go - the quests are almost always engaging, and perfectly intertwined with the main story - truly an epic experience. Between the actual RPGs Fallout: NV, FABLE 3, DRAGON AGE, gothic4 RISEN and stands out clearly TWO WORLDS 2 and is definitely worth the money if one allows the small masterpiece with the necessary time to develop.

Summary:

What we like about the TWO WORLDS 2:
+ Great Graphics and impressive scenery
+ gigantic / enormous abwechslugsreiche world
+ side story / quests: great
+ Successful skill system
+ experimentation possible
+ Extremely varied main and side quests
+ Authentic atmosphere
+ Perfect synchronization with numerous celebrities [ as voice of Daniel Craig]
+ Exceeds Oblivion in almost every way,
+ Clean Console Port [xbox360]

What we do not like about TWO WOLRD 2:
-the social contacts you will suffer from this game!
-The different worlds merge rarely "a" world-
main story: slightly
-Something HDR and much Motionblureffekte
-Weak facial expressions / gestures, especially in conversations
control on the horse only suboptimal
